Authentic Task Spring 2012
May 19th, 2012 We have finally completed the hardest part of your English I Honors experience!! I know you feel like a huge burden has been lifted from your shoulders! Our final assignments for AUTHENTIC TASK spring 2012 are as follows:
Your group will be asked to write a "how to/ directions" for one of the following :
submitting information / assignments to edmodo
how to upload a video onto the wiki
how to upload your survey and data to the wiki
how to create a survey using googledocs.com
how to check your survey data on google docs
how to create a prezi (with working pathways)
how to upload a video to prezi
Each group will be assigned a staff participant and that group will write a THANK YOU NOTE . Thank staff members for taking the time to come into our class and listen to our presentations and suggestions.
Each student is responsible for writing a reflection on their whole AUTHENTIC TASK experience. I have your assignment set up on www.edmodo.com and you will have to submit your paper. The requirements are listed in this "snapshot".

Interview questions due April 13th, 2012 ( submitted to Edmodo) QUIZ GRADE
Interivews to be conducted between April 10th -April 20th, 2012
All information collected should be compiled; start thinking about your PRESENTATION format.

April 17th~ PREZI info session; begin working on presentations
Begin brainstorming who will deliver what information in your presentation and presentation ORDER:
Introduction
Rhetorical question
Thought provoking statement to "lure in " your audience
Problem
Survey information
Interview information
Solutions/ Closure
Based on your order, those individuals will create the slides/ information that they will be responsible for.....adding data to the prezi for a "complete picture".
Each group member will collorate on the presentation....one person will not do all the work!
Plan out your speech for group presentation ( see widgit for additional information)
APRIL 27th, 2012, rough draft of speech is due. Upload your individual speech onto your group wiki page. Speech will count as a quiz grade. Late? -20 points per day!
May 2, 2012, PREZIs should be completed AND uploaded onto group wiki page.
May 3th, 2012, Final copy of speech should be submitted to wiki page, and document should have the following labels: Final Copy, your name, your presentation order, and the date paper was submitted. Final copy will count as a test grade.
